Dr Sami Haddad is a qualified specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr Haddad completed his training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in NSW Australia in 2009. He is a fully qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry and completed a Bachelor degree in dental surgery 1995 and further a Bachelor degree of Medicine from the University of Newcastle (NSW) in the year 2005. Dr Sami Haddad completed formal basic and advanced surgical training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and this culminated in the award of Fellowship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – FRACDS (OMS).
Dr Sami Haddad works both in the public and private sectors and also teaches at the University of Sydney. He is a consultant surgeon at Westmead Public Hospital and Central Coast Health (Gosford), and a visiting medical specialist at Norwest and Nepean Private Hospitals.
Dr Haddad has high regards for conservative surgery and would favour keyhole surgery whenever possible in order to minimise postoperative swelling and help gain a speedy recovery and return to full function.
