Employee of the Month
Lakeview Private is blessed with numerous employees who day after day do us proud and who live and breathe our philosophy of Patients First.
It’s always a joy at the end of each month to present our Employee of the Month certificate and acknowledge a particular individual’s efforts and show our appreciation.
The following are our winners over the past few months. We are delighted that each of them are part of the Lakeview Private family.
Mark – Lakeview Private Rehabilitation
May 2019
May saw Mark, our Rehabilitation Ward Nurse Unit Manager not only win the employee of the month for the second time but receive a record breaking number of nominations from patients and staff for his great nursing and management skills. Mark joined us in August 2015 as a team leader and has worked his way up to running the entire ward. The sheer number of nominations received from his own team demonstrates what a great NUM he is. Mark, we are so lucky to have you!
Jane – Lakeview Perioperative
April 2019
Our wonderful employee of the month for April was the lovely Jane who has been a much valued member of our team since 2015 working as a set up technician in our perioperative department. As part of her role, Jane assists the team to ensure everything is ready to go for all cases and plays a pivotal role in making sure we deliver quality care to our patients.
Jane was nominated by her colleagues for her willingness to assist friendly nature, hard work and never failing to have a smile on her face. Congratulations Jane… You embody so much of our culture here at Lakeview Private!
Blake – Theatres & Recovery
March 2019
March saw us celebrate Blake and the wonderful work he does as one of our porters in Theatres and Recovery. Blake, who helps with the movement and transportation of patients and equipment, received a spectacular number of nominations from his colleagues for his constant willingness to go above and beyond, his delightful compassionate nature, and for always putting Patients First.
Blake started with us in 2018 and has quickly become a highly valued member of the Lakeview Private family. Outside of work he is a talented musician writing songs and playing guitar with his band (whose name is a little too controversial for us to mention here).
When asked what he enjoys most about working at Lakeview, Blake simply answered “the people – both the patients and the staff, hands down.” Well done Blake. We are indeed all about the people!
Kristine – Lakeview Private Surgical Ward
February 2019
February saw the lovely Kristine being acknowledged as our employee of the month. Kristine is a registered nurse on the Surgical Ward. She was nominated by patients, families and her colleagues for her unwavering positive attitude and willingness to always go above and beyond for her patients and their families. Always ready with a smile she is a wonderful team member who is greatly appreciated not only by her team on the surgical ward but the entire hospital. Congratulations Kristine! We are so happy you are part of the Lakeview Private family.
