Aid Description:
A reacher is an extension to your arm which assists in grabbing out of reach objects. It has a ‘trigger’ end which the user squeezes to close the ‘jaw’ of the reacher. A reacher can be used to reachand pick up items in high and low places and can also assist with lower limb dressings amongst other uses. Some even have a handy magnet on the end to help pick up nails, pins and other small metal objects.
Who can benefit from this aid?
A reacher is helpful for people who have limited movement in their hips, knees, back, shoulders and hands due to conditions such as arthritis. It can also be a great option for people with reduced mobility and balance in order to reduce falls when bending and reaching.

Aid Description:
A sock aid makes the process of putting a sock on easier for those with restricted mobility. The sock is slipped over the aid and the user can simply slip their foot into the sock whilst using the handles to pull it up.
