Dr Farid Meybodi is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, specialising in Oncoplastic Breast and Endocrine Surgery. He scored the highest marks in Iran’s National Board Examination in 2005 and later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Australia.

A/Prof Meybodi is known for introducing innovative and safe techniques in breast surgery, with the aim of making them accessible to everyone. His pioneering techniques have earned him considerable recognition and acclaim from oncoplastic breast surgeons worldwide. As a result, he has been invited to present his work at many prestigious international meetings and has published several papers in renowned journals.

As an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, Farid is passionate about teaching and research. His special area of interest is oncoplastic breast surgery, particularly breast reductions and has introduced two practice changing innovative techniques in breast implant reconstruction and volume replacement breast surgery.
