A/Professor (Dr) Singh is an ENT Specialist Surgeon and is known as Sydney’s Nose and Sinus Specialist. He treats adults and children.
A/Prof Singh is the Head of the ENT Department at Westmead Adult Hospital, Australia’s largest hospital complex, Head of the ENT Dept at Lakeview Private Hospital, and the Area Director of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery for the Western Sydney Health District.
A/Prof Singh is a clinical academic at the University of Sydney, Australia’s oldest and largest medical school.
A/Prof Singh has:
• Written over 90 university textbooks, book chapters and scientific research papers
• Presented over 240 keynotes, lectures, presentations and posters at International and National scientific conferences
• Supervised 11 PhD and Masters students to completion with another 6 currently in-progress
• Created a flagship research project, DrumBeat.ai, which aims to beat ear disease in rural and remote indigenous Australian children using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
He grew up on his family’s farm near Griffith in country NSW. He attended his local country high school and was awarded the Premier’s Medal for the 1989 Higher School Certificate. A/Prof Singh and his family have lived in The Hills District for well over 20 years. He gained his medical degree (MBBS) and Master of Surgery (MS) at the University of Sydney. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery FRACS (OHNS) and a 3-year Nose and Sinus Fellowship at the world-renown Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals and Kings College in London, England.
