Dr Manish Gupta is a Specialist upper-limb Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years of experience consulting and operating across North-West and Western Sydney. He specialises in shoulder and elbow conditions.

Dr Gupta was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and completed his medical education at The University of New South Wales in 1999 before completing the rigorous Australian Orthopaedics Association training program and being awarded the title of Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in 2010.

He then undertook significant additional, advanced, sub-specialised surgical training internationally at high-volume training institutes under the guidance of luminary upper-limb orthopaedic surgeons, including in the United States of America where he undertook microsurgery at Columbia University, New York. Dr Gupta was awarded the ‘Calvert Fellow’ training position in the United Kingdom at the prestigious Shoulder Unit at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, London. He was also a shoulder arthroscopy faculty instructor at Watanabe Shoulder Course, in York, UK, and was awarded the Traveling Anglo-Dutch Sports Surgery Fellowship. His dedicated concentration on the upper-limb region has allowed Dr Gupta to focus his surgical skills in order to improve outcomes for patients.

In addition to consulting and operating, Dr Gupta is also involved with mentoring and training medical students, trainee surgeons and allied health professionals. He has recently completed a tenure as the Director of Orthopaedic Training at Nepean Hospital. He is the secretary of the International Orthopaedic Trauma Teaching Group (OTC Asia-Pacific).
