Dr Peter Lorentzos is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He specialises in knee and hip arthroplasty, sports knee injuries, and trauma. He is the Chief Medical Officer for the Wests Tigers Rugby League club and has a longstanding interest in sports and sporting injuries.
Dr Lorentzos was born in Sydney. He completed his medical degree at The University of Sydney in 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in 1996. He undertook his Orthopaedic Specialist Training in NSW with placements at several tertiary centres, including Royal Prince Alfred and Westmead Hospitals.
He is a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital, Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospital and Westmead Private. His private rooms are located at Westmead and North Strathfield.
He has published several papers in peer-reviewed medical journals. His patients and colleagues regard him as thorough and approachable.
