Dr Rishi Sud is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Gosford Hospital, and Conjoint Fellow at the University of Newcastle. He graduated from Western Sydney University and completed his Physicians training at Concord Hospital and Gastroenterology Advanced Training at St George Hospital and Gosford Hospital. Rishi has VMO appointments at Lakeview Private Hospital in Norwest and Strathfield Private Hospitals. 

Rishi provides high-quality, evidence-based care across all areas of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He has a particular interest in colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic liver disease including viral hepatitis. Rishi also has a strong interest in medical education and mentoring of trainees. He is accredited for gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). 

Rishi is known for his attention to detail and the compassionate manner in which he cares for his patients. He enjoys his interactions with patients and their families and will spend time explaining the diagnosis and management plan.  Rishi strongly believes that high quality, timely medical care should be affordable and No-Gap bills all private procedures (as does his Anaesthetist) and provides discounts for aged pensioners and HCC holders.
