Dr Fitzsimons is a well-established surgeon in Sydney who has been in private practice for over 25 years. He specialises in cataracts, strabismus, refractive surgery, and general ophthalmology.
Dr Fitzsimons is a member of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The International Strabismological Association, The Australian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He began performing refractive surgery in Australia in 1990 by delivering the first refractive lasers.
