Dr Harith Alani is a dual-qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with more than 25 years of local and international experience.
Dr Alani began his 29-year journey in plastic surgery and completed his first Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery when he was awarded a Fellowship of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) from Germany/Belgium. Subsequently, Dr Alani went to the United States for an observational fellowship at the Southern Illinois University.
After 12 years of practice as a consultant plastic surgeon, Dr Alani came to Australia and completed the training program in Sydney and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. During that period he worked in many plastic surgery centres in Sydney including Royal Prince Alfred, Prince of Wales, Westmead, Liverpool and Royal North Shore Hospitals.
Dr Alani completed further fellowship training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, focusing on head and neck reconstruction and breast reconstruction. He is a consultant at a number of public and private hospitals in Sydney.
