Dr Stephanie Lam is a VMO at Lakeview Private Hospital. She also works as a Staff Specialist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, VMO at Orange Hospital, and formerly at Westmead Hospital Brain Injury Unit. Dr Lam completed her post-graduate Medical Degree at the University of Notre Dame and has trained at numerous tertiary and teaching hospitals across Sydney. Prior to this, she completed an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Dr Lam is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM), Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) and was a recipient of the Basmajian and Gyory prize for best overall performance in the Fellowship Exam.
Dr Lam has a special interest in the rehabilitation fields of: Orthopaedics, Trauma, Brain injury, Spinal cord injury, Developmental Disability, Neurological conditions and Cancer Rehabilitation.
Dr Lam is dedicated to ongoing teaching and education in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine. She is a member of the AFRM (RACP) NSW/ACT Regional Committee & Curriculum review committee. She is also the Co-Convenor of the NSW Advanced Trainee Interview Panel, a Fellowship Clinical Examiner and Advanced Trainee Supervisor. Dr Lam is an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer with The University of NSW & University of Notre Dame Australia.
