the following roles:
CNE Endoscopy / CNS Endoscopy
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to work in a dual role: 2 days per week as a CNE and 3 days per week as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). We also welcome permanent part-time applications for either role individually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage mandatory education and orientation programs for a busy Endoscopy department.
- Provide clinical support and ongoing education to nurses.
- Conduct nurse assessments using clinical competencies and maintain the department’s training register.
- Participate in the clinical development, review, and evaluation of nursing practices and competencies.
- Assist in policy and procedure development.
- Promote best practices through staff development and education.
- Identify in-service education needs and collaborate with educators and managers to address them.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Essential: Experience in Endoscopy.
- Previous experience as a CNE, CNS, or similar role, or demonstrated experience in nurse competency training.
- Desirable: Accreditation in the Advanced Life Support program.

Volunteers
Volunteers are an important part of our team at Lakeview Private Hospital. With a deep commitment to the philosophy of Patients First, Lakeview Private Hospital seeks to create an exceptional and seamless patient experience. We are currently looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers who can live out this philosophy. Some of the duties include coordinating reading material, assisting with flower arrangements and simply providing company.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, provide at least two references and complete a Working with Children Check as part of the application process. Volunteer experience in a similar role will be looked on favorably although it is not essential.
