• Identify key considerations such as hereditary factors, breast density, pregnancy related changes, fertility and the psychological impact of young women with breast cancer.
• Assess and understand the latest treatments and the appropriate management of side effects from chemotherapy, immunotherapy, endocrine and targeted therapies.
• Determine the emotional impact on patients and when to refer for psychological support. Understand the role and support provided by a Breast Care Nurse
