Dr Yeoh is a fellowship-trained hand, wrist and upper limb Surgeon. He was trained in Sydney and completed Clinical Fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery with the Canberra Orthopaedic Group and with the St Joseph’s Hospital, University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is skilled in the management of bone and soft tissue conditions of the hand, wrist and upper limb, and is proficient in open, arthroscopic and micro surgery.
Dr Yeoh performs many operations under local anaesthesia or regional block if that is the patient’s preference. His special interests in hand and wrist surgery include carpal tunnel syndrome and other nerve conditions, tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, and sport and work-related injuries. His special interests in shoulder and elbow surgery include rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability, nerve and tendon injuries, and sport and work-related injuries.
Dr Yeoh believes that teaching other health professionals is essential in ensuring optimal care for patients. He is a regular contributor to GP and physiotherapy publications and gives regular lectures and small group teaching sessions. He is accredited as an Education Activity Representative for the RACGP QI&CPD Program for Category 1 Activity Learning Modules, and is happy to facilitate a customised education program for health providers on request. Dr Yeoh consults in Bella Vista, Penrith, Concord and Hurstville.
