Dr Bailey Sanderson is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. She consults at The Centre for Gastrointestinal Health in Bella Vista and performs Endoscopic Procedures at both Lakeview Private and Norwest Private Hospitals. Dr Sanderson completed her Medical degree at The University of Sydney in 2010, following graduation from The University of New South Wales in 2006 with degrees in both Science and Commerce. She completed medical training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, followed by completion of Specialist training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Gosford and Blacktown Hospitals.

Dr Sanderson is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), as well as a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA). She has accredited expertise in upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy, as certified by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE).

Dr Sanderson’s practice encompasses all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, however she has a particular interest in cancer screening, with an emphasis on prevention and early detection. She also has specific interests in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Functional Gut Disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
