Lakeview Private Hospital NUMs joins NSW Nursing & Midwifery Unit Managers’ Society Conference

Showing ongoing commitment to best practice patient care, Lakeview Private Hospital Surgical NUM, Ravi Ramiah, and Rehab NUM, Mark Magallones, recently attended the Nursing & Midwifery Unit Managers’ Society NSW Annual Conference in Sydney.
“The day was filled with timely, relevant, empowering topics and activities that will help NUMs in effectively managing their respective teams and areas with confidence, advocating for safe patient care,” said Mark Magallones. “Lakeview Private Hospital supports NUMs in bringing exemplary leadership practices in the provision of high-quality patient care in line with the Patients First philosophy.”
The conference was attended by NUMs and MUMs across NSW with the aim of creating a support network for managers, defining best leadership practices and ensuring quality, safe, positive patient care outcomes. The conference was attended by Deputy Health Secretary for System and Performance, Susan Pearce, and NSWNMA Union General Secretary, Brett Holmes.
